• How do I qualify to race in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships?
Any runner of high school age is eligible to run in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships. There is no qualifying standard to run in the regional races.
• How do I qualify for the National Championship?
The top eight male and top eight female runners from the Championship Races in each regional qualify for the National Championship in San Diego, California.
• Which Region am I in? What if I live in one state and my school is in another state?
The state in which you live determines the regional in which you race. See footlockercc.com to see which region your state is in.
• How do I register for the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships?
Registration forms will be available in mid-August. Downloadable forms will be posted to footlockercc.com.
• How do I know what race I should run in? How do I know if I am in the Championship Race?
Races are assigned by gender and grade level. To run in the Championship Race, a competitor should have run the qualifying standard for his or her regional.
• Do I have to report which race I will run?
Competitors may run in any race for which they qualify. There is no need to report which race you will run. Simply show up at the starting line for the race you want to run.
• What is the host hotel for the National Championship?
The host hotel for the host hotel for the National Championship is the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, California. The rate for a room is $179 per night. More information can be found at www.hoteldel.com.
